New Year Party Checklist

2017 is coming to an end quickly and for most that means being surrounded by loving friends and family, great food and an amazing party! In order for your end of the year event to make the Top 10 best parties of 2017 along with being the party people remember bringing in 2018 at, here are some things we feel you should add to your checklist in order to get the party popping!
Create the mood
This is the time you have been waiting for, bust out all of your glittery and metallic decorations, gold and silvers, sparkly curly strings, and of course balloons! Make sure you also have some New Year’s hats, glasses and noise makers on hand for your partygoers that are there for a less formal affair. Having a backdrop or a blank piece of paper for your New Years’ Eve Instagram worthy photos, or even for your guest to write their resolutions on.
Food Options
Now we aren’t saying have a full course dinner for your guest but some finger foods that your guest can nibble on will be very handy when people are mingling. If you are looking for a more budget-friendly option though, a potluck is always an amazing option. Keep in mind while shopping for holiday party decorations around Christmas time, get some decorations that can work with any theme so you aren’t spending a ton of money.
Deciding on Spirits
There is no doubt that you’re going to have champagne at this party but you might want to have some other options available before the big count down happens so that you can save some money. You can add some sorbet or a cherry to your champagne to make it a little more fun as well. Keep in mind beer before liquor, never been sicker; liquor before beer, you’re in the clear. Also for your underage guest as well, so maybe having a fun type of drink they can enjoy like a sparkling non-alcoholic champagne, wine or cute little shots.
Music
Music is the key to a good party and for you to be able to keep everyone happy and not have to get a ton of request the day of you can ask your guest to submit their top 3 favorite songs and then make a playlist and keep in on shuffle throughout the night.
Midnight
Now, you’re at the countdown and you want to get the best Snapchat video for you bringing in the New Year, you have to have something special for everyone to add a little fun when you get to 0. Toast with your champagne and pass around some confetti poppers!
