Do you need a Wedding Day Emergency Kit? It’s your Wedding Day and you’re starting to have some trouble with your hair, makeup, or dress and now you have a headache. Has your special day turned from perfect to a mess? Not with your emergency kit on hand. You may think you won’t have any issues the day of your wedding, however, it’s more common than you think, and anything can happen so it’s best to be prepared.
Preparing for the worst gives you one less thing to be stressed about on your special day. So, what should you have in your wedding day emergency kit?
Sewing Kit
The first and possibly the most important thing is a sewing kit. You’d be surprised how many dresses need a bit of fixing before walking that aisle. Whether it’s a bead that’s fallen off, a small tear, or a loose thread, a sewing kit with needles, safety pins, scissors, hemming tape, and the right colored thread will come in hand for not only the bride but the bridesmaids, groom, and groomsmen.

Clear nail polish or super glue is a MUST for a wedding day emergency kit
Clear nail polish and the color polish you’re wearing is important to fix any chips or bumps to keep you looking fresh and those photos looking amazing. Clear polish also comes in hand for any rips or runs in tights, stopping those tears from getting any worse. As for super glue, this is important for any broken shoes, jewelry, or other accessories.
Bobby pins/ Hair Spray/ Comb/ Hair Ties
As much as we want our hair to stay perfect all night, that just won’t happen. With all the hugs and kisses, the sweating, all the photos, and of course all the dancing, strands falling out and hair frizzing up is bound to occur. Having extras of everything on hand will keep you looking like the barbie you are all night.
Blotting Papers/ Makeup
With all the moving and talking you’ll be doing, you can’t just wipe your face when you’ve got a full face of makeup on. Blotting sheets are a must, as well as your makeup for any touch ups throughout the night.
Ibuprofen/ Band-aids
Of course, your wedding day is a beautiful special day, but it’s also a long one and can sometimes be stressful. Ibuprofen on hand is great for any headaches from your hair or common issues such as time. Don’t forget band-aids for any possible blisters from walking all night in your heels.
