There are so many websites and apps now to help plan your wedding! As a planner, I feel like there is a new one every week I am hearing about. Hence why this blog we decided to give you the top apps and websites that are out there for weddings besides the common ones you might already know!
Thumbtack.com– This app is quickly becoming one of the easiest but most dependable ways to find the right professional for your event. First thing is to answer a few questions about your specific needs and then within hours thumbtack will introduce you to 5 available professionals. You can also compare custom quotes, reviews, profiles right on the website and message them through there without giving out your personal information! This is a lifesaver app!
Wedding Party- This app provides the opportunity to collect photos from your guests. You can automatically organize your photos by events like engagement to honeymoon to keep your guests connected. You can message all you guests or have a private group chat. With this app you’re also allowed to use a planning feature to keep track of dates, share event logistics, and distribute registry.BONUS: It has a built in photo booth so guests can capture 4 photos in a row, even selfies and choose one of 3 layouts – photo strip, photo squares or a GIF/video, add filters and share with everyone!
Eversnap- Privately share all your photos or videos amongst a group of friends, event, wedding party or all of your guests! It includes an unlimited amount of storage for photos and videos for free and you can share them privately. There is no limit to how long the videos need to be to upload either.BONUS: You can pay for your pictures to become a LIVE feed at your wedding or event!
Wedding Lookbook- Helps search for the hottest wedding dresses, get listing of wedding salons that carry the dresses and designers you want to try on, browse engagement rings and wedding bands.
Wedding Planning Complete- Has a wedding countdown, a budget deadline, a spending tracker, a detailed checklist, customizable seating charts, contacts list for all your guest and wedding vendors, tips and advice from best-selling wedding books (etc).
Wedding Happy- You put in the date of the wedding then it builds a customized schedule with a to-do checklist and suggest due dates. It also can help you find wedding professionals, sends you notifications so you don’t get backed up and its even perfect to use along with your groom and send him messages!
Brides Wedding Genius 4.0- Here you’re able to browse wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses by silhouette, brand, price, dress length and more. Browse his and hers jewelry galleries by price, brand, metal, cut, and etc. Explore travel destination for your honeymoon, oh la la!
Zola Registry- You can create and manage your own wedding registry on the go, make it your own with photos and notes to your guest. Add gifts from thousands of registry items for home, play as well as honeymoon funds.BONUS: This app allows you to turn on a setting called “group gifting” which allows your guest to contribute as much as they want monetary wise or physical gifts.
Happy Couple- I have heard there is a one-time fee of $35 dollars but this is a bride/guest friendly app. This app allows guest to upload pictures, view event details and send messages with pictures. You can use this app to shop for dresses, it has a multi-event section (maps, calendar, dress code, bar, etc.), upload photos, RSVP’s (entrée selection, plus ones, groups) travel and so much more!
Adorn.com– This website allows you to rent very fine jewelry. You shop, pick out the pieces you love, add to your “shopping bag”. Check their availability by entering your event date. Check out and send back when you are done! Voila!
Foryourparty.com– This one is a DIY websites. This website allows you to create your own personalized party accessories from custom napkins, coasters, stir sticks. It also allows you to work with their designers develop your own party favors, stationer, and much more. Or you’re welcomed to design your own!
There are so many apps and websites that can help you throughout the process and some not mentioned popular ones are Wedding Wire, The Knot, Etsy and Pinterest which I am sure you might have looked at already but take a shot on these others! You might be surprised with what you can find!
