THE COUPLE: BRANDI & YONI

The color blue holds great significance within the overall theme of Brandi and Yoni’s wedding. It beautifully manifests through various elements like the yarmulkes, the ties worn by the groom and groomsmen, the flowers, and the dresses of the bridesmaids.

Brandi and Yoni’s wedding is infused with an enchanting blend of creativity, transforming the traditional ceremony into a truly distinctive and joyous celebration. A captivating example of their unique touch can be witnessed at the welcome table, where they replace the traditional guestbook with a playful twist: a Jenga tower. Here, guests can leave heartfelt messages to the couple on the Jenga pieces. The memories of the people who joined Brandi and Yoni on their happy day will always be cherished and remembered anytime they take the Jengas out to play.

In addition, the couple organizes a delightful and purposeful activity towards the end of the event, inviting guests to visit the welcome table before departing and participate in creating beautiful bouquets. These bouquets will bring immense joy and a breath of fresh air to the Miami Jewish Home for the Aged. This activity not only sparks the guests’ creativity but also serves as a profoundly meaningful gesture.

The Wedding: Traditional Style
Before the ceremony commences in a traditional Jewish wedding, an important ritual takes place known as the signing of the Ketubah. The Ketubah serves as a symbolic Jewish marriage contract, outlining the responsibilities of the groom towards his bride. In the presence of their loved ones and family members, Yoni signed the contract, affirming his commitment to care for and protect his beloved bride, Brandi.

A beautiful ceremony, known as the Bedeken, takes place following the signing of the Ketubah. In this enchanting moment, Yoni looks into the eyes of his stunning bride, Brandi, and delicately veils her face. This act symbolizes Yoni’s profound love for Brandi, embracing her inner beauty.

Another significant wedding tradition is the Breaking of the Glass. Yoni broke the glass under a cloth bag to shatter it. This ceremony symbolizes the commitment between him and Brandi to stand by one another through joy and sorrow in their happily married life.
